Cannot change my account/encryption password

Changing your account and encryption passwords is policy-dependable.

To check if you have permission to do so:

  1. On the Home screen, swipe to the right to access the Status Screen.
  2. Tap Policy Manager.
  3. Swipe to the left to access the Device Policy tab.
  4. Check the Lock Screen & Password group. If the parameter is false, you don’t have permission to do it.
