I’ve created a new key, and I can’t decrypt old messages

If you already have an existing encrypted email correspondence and you choose to create a new key, it will overwrite the key previously used on server-side. This means that you will not be able to decrypt previous emails using the new key: so to access those, you need to enter your Security Lock or remember the old passphrase. This process goes on for each email, associated with a given key.
