There are strings and symbols instead of text in the received messages

Please ask the sender to make sure that the email’s format is set to “No HTML.”

When writing a new message, select “No HTML” as a format. Here is how to do it:

1. Tap to open Additional settings.

2. Tap  under the Sign and Encrypt option and change the format of the email to “No HTML.”
